Coach Grant joined Brentwood Christian School in 2023. He is the Director of Sports Communication and Communication for BCS and head girls basketball coach.

Prior to Brentwood, Grant spent three years as the head girls basketball coach at Midland Christian School, where he also coached middle school track & field. Prior, he was the head boys basketball, head girls track and field coach and assistant baseball coach at International Leadership of Texas’ Keller-Saginaw High School campus, where he was a member of three state championship squads (girls track, baseball twice). 

From 2013-2016, Grant was a sports editor of the Star Local Media newspaper companies before transitioning to a career in education. He also worked as an assistant coach for his high school alma mater, Dallas Christian School, and with the Hurricanes Basketball club in North Dallas during this time. In high school, he was a Dallas Mavericks ballkid and spent parts of the last 15 summers coaching hoop camp for the Dallas Mavericks throughout the metroplex. 

Grant and his wife, Tristan, have been married since 2016 and have three children. He played football at Trinity University in San Antonio for one season and went on to graduate from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in mass communication with a minor in English.
